Military authorities say the Ampatuan family whose members are working in government as governors, vice governors, mayors, vice mayors, etc. probably owns as many as 23 houses in Maguindanao, Davao City and Metro Manila, including several mansions. Now we know why they call it “internal” revenue allotment.

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, in one Ampatuan compound alone, soldiers found a Hummer, a Toyota Land Cruiser, a Chevrolet Suburban, a GMC truck, two Toyota Hi-Lux pick-ups, a Ford F150, an Isuzu D-Max pick-up, a Toyota Hi-Ace van and two military trucks. A separate raid on Andal Ampatuan Jr.’s compound yielded nine funeral cars.
In one Ampatuan compound alone, soldiers discovered a Hummer, a Toyota Land Cruiser, a Chevrolet Suburban, a GMC truck, two Toyota Hi-Lux pick-ups, a Ford F150, an Isuzu D-Max pick-up, a Toyota Hi-Ace van and two military trucks… fueling speculations that a member of the influential family actually works at the Bureau of Customs.
