Erap had many friends who were not opportunists during his incumbency. The late FPJ was one of them. His official cabinet is A-1 caliber. They served him well. The kabits, the midnight unofficial cabinet, the opportunist friends and hangers-on altogether did him in. Sayang talaga! Sinayang niya talaga ang pagkakataon to serve. If he wants to make amends to the poor whom I’m sure naman he really cares for, there are many other decent ways to help them. A second shot at the presidency is not one of them though.
