Among Ed
Pampanga governor, Father Ed Panlilio has declared his intention to seek the presidency in 2010. If elected, he vows to improve the government’s tax collection… by opening more quarry sites in different parts of the country.
Among Ed II
Last Saturday, Father Ed Panlilio said he was willing to give up his priesthood to be able to run in the 2010 presidential election. Today, Mar Roxas said he’s willing to give up his manhood for the same purpose.
Mar Roxas, Again
Have you seen the sequel to Mar Roxas’ premature political ad “Padyak?” The new one is called “Ramdam.” In the ad, the presidential wannabe told a group of impoverished folks, “Ramdam ko kayo. Huwag kayong matakot. Lalaban tayo.” It wasn’t the first time he said that though. Those were the exact words he told his sperm cells the first time he slept with Korina.
Cory Aquino
To focus on her ailing mother – former President Corazon Aquino, Kris Aquino said she’ll stop making movies for a while. Don’t you just admire Tita Cory? Even in pain, she’s still doing us a huge favor.
First Ms U Delegate
Myrna Sese Panlilio-Borromeo, the first Binibining Pilipinas to the Miss Universe pageant [She failed to make it to the next round.] has died from cardiac arrest. During her funeral, a Bb. Pilipinas Charities representative gave a short but somber three-word eulogy: “Thank you girl.”
World’s Oldest Man
Henry Allingham, the world’s oldest man died at the age of 113 in London. Allingham had five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. The cause of death: extreme exhaustion after reading children’s stories.

“It is Hell, of course, that makes priests powerful, not Heaven, for after thousands of years of so-called civilization fear remains the one common denominator of mankind.”

ph, nandoon ka ba the first time roxas slept with korina?
the ramdam ad is so disgusting!
and mar roxas too!
slim chance for among ed.
And speaking of slim chances, how about Nick Perlas’s own bid for 2010? Care to comment?
sad to say, reality is: popularity is an essential part in NATIONAL elections.
kaya nga sabi ni Among Ed hindi pa siya totally sure na tatakbo kasi they still have to gauge if they will pick up in the surveys.
to relate with the question, among ed is even more popular than nick perlas.
So disgusting.
Between Among Ed (who was reported to be leaving his priesthood for good just for this) and Brother Eddie who still is using his “5 million” JIL followers and the name of the Lord for his presidential bid, definitely i’d choose the former.
i thought robert reyes grabbed the headlines again. i was so disgusted with that priest. he is more of photo op priest than a running priest. lol
there was this one time he said he’ll run from makati to liwasan bonifacio for our cause. its 12:00 in the afternoon and a summer. he donned his marathon outfit. and together with a gomburza flag waving guy they stretched, preparing to brave the summer sun. we had some photoop with the priest (with matching running action).
i brought my car, together with my group we found our way to liwasang bonifacio. we were surprised to see fr reyes the running priest, still fresh, still in marathon outfit and waving the wtf gomburza flag. langhiya naunahan kami malamang nagshorcut yun. wtf indeed.
mga pari na mahilig sa photo op i called them showbiz priest… and i think this ed guy is one of them, welcum to the club
the running priest, si father reyes yon
that’s what i was actually thought… when i saw the picture of Among Ed i found that there is something missing… Among Ed needs a miracle to win, and that’s the fact.
actually what he needs is our votes. he is against gloria and eraps minions. that is good enough for me! not to mention that all the other presidentiables makes me want to puke!
Kasi naman he was already serving God, now he’s telling us he wants to serve the people. It’s so obvious na may ambisyon talaga sya and sad to say, it seems like he’s just using his priesthood to get what he wants. God would definitely have a very long talk with him when the time comes.
About the new advertisement of Tita Mar: for what it’s worth I think may mabuti namang maidudulot ‘to kahit papaano. If you really hate or want to torture someone, this would be the way to go. Have them watch Mar’s advertisement and I’m pretty sure they’ll give you anything. We could even sell the ads to other countries which use torture to extract info.
Among Ed should run again as Governor. Let us see if his first election is no fluke…
sad to say 2010 will be again a selection between lesser evils…but given the chance I will take my risk with Among ED.
Elections @ 2010…
Errrr, Mar Roxas does have sperm cells?
Makati disputes report on COA findingsJuly 21, 2009, 2:31pmMakati City Administrator Marjorie De Veyra today said the Makati city government has substantially answered the findings of a 2008 Commission on Audit (COA) report in a conference with COA officials in March.
“The release of an old report after both parties have reached a consensus is puzzling and given the fact that Mayor Binay is an opposition leader, could even be politically motivated,” she said.
City Accountant Leonila Querijero also clarified that the 2008 COA report merely noted that there was a need to designate as authorized disbursing officers the city officials and employees who were given cash advances totalling p200,635,959.90 as of Dec. 31 2008.
“The COA did not disallow these advances or even said these were irregular. They merely noted that those entitled to cash advances should be given designations as authorized disbursing officers and we have already done this,” she said.
The conference, held last March 9 at the Makati City Hall , was attended by COA-NCR chief Ronald Rey, Makati Auditor Gabriel Espina, COA staff, and city hall officials.
During the conference, the city government justified the cash advances granted to some city officials, which were primarily intended for the maintenance and repair of public facilities.
Makati disagreed with COA’s recommendation that the city purchase such supplies and materials in bulk, saying the city’s policy of purchasing items when the need arises greatly minimizes loss or theft of government properties.
“These cash advances were actually revolving funds for the immediate purchase of supplies and materials used to maintain and repair the various properties of the city,” said Querijero.
During the conference, Makati city officials said the city government opted to purchase as the need arises through a city official who is tasked to strictly monitor and control the utilization of items.
Bulk purchases, as recommended by COA, would result in a higher risk of loss or theft.
“We informed COA that had we purchased in bulk, there would be an even greater risk of loss or theft. A better approach is to purchase as the needed arises, based on a diligent inventory of items. By doing this, the possibility of loss or theft of items has been greatly minimized if not eradicated,” she said
Nakakatuwa ang sinabi mong “Mar Roxas said he’s willing to give up his manhood for the same purpose”. Napakagandang tagline.
