Should we trust Gloria again?
President Arroyo is performing the functions of a chief executive as mandated by the Constitution. If you look at things closely, why do you think PGMA managed to be the President of this country even if there are groups who are desperate to oust her? It is because these groups do not have the popular support of the people. If PGMA is unpopular, the call to oust her is more unpopular. It is not supported by a big number of people because the people want immediate assistance to poverty, food supply and a solution to the increases in oil price. Juan de la Cruz would want to have food on his family’s table than join senseless rallies that will not give him food at the end of the day.
To the critics of the President, have they done anything to help in the resolution of the country’s problems? You know, all these negative publicity against PGMA before her SONA are just tactics to confuse the people so they would get mad at the President. But come to think of it, aren’t these negative news causing you headaches? Better not be influenced by it.
